Mark your calendar for an event you and your family don't want to miss!  Please plan to join members of Scarborough's school staff, in collaboration with staff from Scarborough's Public Library, on Thursday, May 11 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Wentworth School Learning Commons, to learn about helping children be safe, respectful and responsible as they grow up in the digital age.  During the evening there will be several workshops offered on a number of wide range of important topics (review the attached handout for sessions offered).  Children are welcome to attend.
If you would like more information on the event, please check out this website:

You may have recently received a invitation to open and/or edit a Google Document from a Scarborough staff member. This would have occurred yesterday, 5/3/17, starting around 2pm. The message may look something like this photo.

If you opened the google doc, here are the directions (from a report on WCSH6 News) to correct the problem:

Please DO NOT CLICK the Google Document shared with you. Delete the message both from your inbox and your trash.

2017-2018 School Calendar

posted Apr 28, 2017, 6:44 AM by Kelly Johnston   [ updated May 1, 2017, 7:57 AM ]

At last night's School Board meeting, the Board adopted the 2017-2018 school calendar. The calendar dates closely mirror our current calendar, and the school day start and end times are unchanged for 2017-2018. However, the Board did vote to approve revised school start and end times for the 2018-2019 school year (Option #3 of the proposed calendars). This extra implementation time will allow families and our staff to adequately prepare and plan for the upcoming changes.

As always, we thank our School Board for their ongoing work and dedication to our school community!
