Laptop Paperwork for 6-12 Students

Image result for laptopReminder: Laptop paperwork is available for students entering grades 6-12 on the Scarborough Middle School and Scarborough High School websites. Details, including pre-season deployment for 9-12 students, may be found on each school's "Laptop Information" page. Payments may be made online via Revtrak.

Schools Will be Back in Session Soon!

Please be sure to check the attached 2017-2018 school calendar for your child's start day for the upcoming school year!  While most will start on Wednesday, August 30th, some students will begin their new school year on Tuesday, August 29th.  Also attached is the bus schedule - if you have any questions on the bus schedule or cannot find your street, please contact our Transportation Department at 207-730-4145.  For any other questions, please contact your child's school.

Enjoy the next couple of weeks of our beautiful Maine summer!  See you all soon!

Early Voting - now until July 20th

No need to wait until July 25 to vote on the School Budget Validation - early voting is available now at Town Hall!

Stop by the Town Clerk's office in Town Hall now through July 20th for early voting. Town Hall is open Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and until 6:30 p.m. on July 19th. Voting hours on July 25th will be 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Town Hall. Absentee ballots will be mailed to voters if requested by calling the Town Clerk's office.

Last Day of School - June 21st!

Last day of school for Scarborough students is Wednesday, June 21st.  Dismissal times are as follows:

High School - 10:35am;
Middle School - 10:45am; 
Wentworth - 11:20am; 
Primary Schools - 12:00pm

Be sure to check the website for the bus schedule in August.

Raising Media Smart Elementary Children - May 11, 2017

Mark your calendar for an event you and your family don't want to miss!  Please plan to join members of Scarborough's school staff, in collaboration with staff from Scarborough's Public Library, on Thursday, May 11 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Wentworth School Learning Commons, to learn about helping children be safe, respectful and responsible as they grow up in the digital age.  During the evening there will be several workshops offered on a number of wide range of important topics (review the attached handout for sessions offered).  Children are welcome to attend.
