Signapore Math Workshop

The K-2 staff had a very successful and informative workshop with Dr. Yeap Ban Har - one of the most accomplished trainers and speakers in the world on the subject of K-5 mathematics. Wentworth staff will get the opportunity to participate in their workshop today.

An Evening with Dr. Yeap Ban Har - Oct 1st

Scarborough Public Schools is hosting an evening with Dr. Yeap Ban Har - one of the most accomplished trainers and speakers in the world on the subject of K-5 mathematics. Dr. Har will be at Wentworth School from 6:00-7:00 p.m. on Monday, October 1st. Families, friends, educators and all are invited. Spread the word!


Homecoming Football Game Canceled

School Nutrition

Does your child(ren) qualify for free and reduced meals?  Please check the attached application and review the "Reduced Income Table" on page 2.  This will give you the qualifying guidelines for school year 2018-2019.  If you have any questions, please contact our Food Services Department at 730-4700.

Also - as a reminder - breakfast is served each school day at each of the 6 schools.  Keep in mind that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Food in the morning increases the student's ability to process information and makes them less tired as the day progresses.

Let’s Go!, a program of the Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital at Maine Medical Center, would like to thank you and your school staff for participating in our 2017-18 program year! Together we are working hard to support healthy behaviors in the places where children learn, play and grow! 


Schools are recognized when they have demonstrated that they are implementing Let’s Go!’s environmental and policy strategies that support healthy eating and active living.


We are pleased to announce that Eight Corners Elementary School is a recognized Let’s Go! site for the 2017-18 program year. We applaud the efforts of staff who oversee the Let’s Go! work in this school. Reaching this status is no easy task!
