Maine Boys to Men and Scarborough High School 
are co-hosting a 
screening of the film "The Mask You Live In"It will be held on March 1, 2017, at Scarborough High School in the Winslow Homer Center for the Arts from 6:30-8:30PM. Doors will open at 6:00PM.

Please join us 
to watch this important film and discuss how communities can work together to make a difference, not only in boys lives, but society as a whole.

Kindergarten Information Night

We will be hosting a Kindergarten Information Night for all incoming Kindergarten parents on 
February 28, 2017 in the Wentworth School Cafeteria at 6:00 pm.  If your child will be 5 on or before October 15, 2017, please plan to attend.
The program will cover the basics of how to register your child for school, the screening process and other general information for coming to school.

Screening appointments will be held MondayThursday, March 27th-30th.  Registration packets will be available at Kindergarten Information Night or you can download them from this site after February 28th.

The high school's Maine Boys to Men student group is partnering with Maine Boys to Men to present the film, The Mask You Live In. The film will be shown at the Winslow Homer Center for the Arts on Wednesday, March 1st; Doors open at 6:00pm with the film starting at 6:30pm (running time approx. 90 minutes). A panel discussion with students will follow the film.

Admission is free and all are welcome. However, we ask that people register for their tickets in advance at www.maineboystomen.org.

Community Dialogue - March 9, 2017

Scarborough Public Schools will be hosting their 4th Community Dialogue on March 9, 2017 from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. in the Wentworth cafe. Join staff, students, parents, community members and business leaders for interesting and thoughtful dialogues that will shape the future of Scarborough Schools. A light dinner will be served.

School Cancelled - February 9, 2016

Due to tomorrow’s forecast, Scarborough Public Schools will be closed tomorrow, Thursday, February 9th and all school-related activities, including Adult Ed classes, will be cancelled.

 


2 Hour Delay Today - 2/8/17

Scarborough Schools will delay the regular start time of school on Wednesday, February 8th by 2 hours. School start time and bus pick up time will be delayed by two hours. There will be no late start at the high school.  This is a district wide two hour delay.  Today’s start times are:

High School start time is 9:35 a m.

Middle School start time is 9:45 a m.

Wentworth start time is 10:20 a m.

Primary Schools start time is 10:50 a m.

The impact of weather conditions may create some unavoidable delays so please build in some flexibility into your planning.


After School Activities & Adult Ed Classes Cancelled - 2/7/17
