Save the Date for KinderKamp 2019!

posted Mar 30, 2019, 5:08 AM by Kelly Johnston

August 5-8 and August 12-15 are the two weeks we are having KinderKamp.  Each week will be Monday- Thursday, with children attending 8:50-11:50. Staff will be at school 8:30-12:30.  Due to potential construction at Eight Corners, we will need to use both Pleasant Hill and Blue Point schools for classroom space.  Pleasant Hill will have 2 classrooms and Blue Point will have 3. This will allow us to serve up to 100 children each week.

KinderKamp is a wonderful opportunity for children to practice being at a new school, with new friends and new teachers.  They can ride a school bus and see what Kindergarten is like. Activities include art, music, movement, imaginative play, literacy and numeracy, and making more friends!  Best of all, it is FREE!

More details will be available at the Kindergarten Information Night on April 23rd, 6:00PM, in the Wentworth Cafeteria.  See you there. If you are not able to attend this information session, all information will be on the Scarborough  Public Schools’ Website on April 24th.
