School Board Workshop & Business Meeting - January 23rd

The School Board Workshop and Business Meeting that were canceled yesterday due to the storm have been rescheduled to Thursday, January 23rd in Town Hall.  The workshop begins at 6:00pm followed by the business meeting at 7:00pm.

Substitute Job Fair - January 30th

If you are interested in being a substitute in Scarborough or one of our neighboring districts, please plan to attend the Substitute Job Fair on Thursday, January 30 at Westbrook Middle School.  There will be two sessions - 4:15pm and 5:15pm.  We are looking for substitutes for several positions:  teachers, ed techs, school nutrition, custodial/maintenance, admin assistants, transportation and nurses.  See the attached flyer for complete details, or call our Central Office at (207) 730-4100 for additional information.

Kindergarten Registration 2020-2021

Kindergarten 2020-2021 registration packets and online scheduling for registration appointments are now available online.

If your child turns 5 on or before October 15, 2020, please take the following steps: 

1. Pre-register your student by clicking here so that we can communicate with you easily and efficiently throughout the
registration process. 
2. Print off and prepare the K-registration paperwork which you will bring with you to your scheduled appointment.

3. Make a registration appointment by clicking hereRegistration appointments are available between February 3rd and March 6th at any of the three buildings.

Building Steering Committee Meeting - New Date - 12/18/19

The Building Steering Committee meeting originally scheduled for tonight, December 17th, has been moved to tomorrow night, December 18th, at 6:00 p.m. in the middle school learning commons.

Early Dismissal Today - 12/17/19

Due to the heavy winter storm expected for this afternoon, all Scarborough Schools will be dismissed early today, Tuesday, December 17th as follows:

High School and Middle School students will be released at 11:30 a.m.
Wentworth and the primary schools will be released at 12:30 p.m.
Community services after care will remain open until 6:00 p.m. as long as Town Hall remains open.  All after school activities have been canceled.

Please be safe and drive carefully.

Bus Change Notification - 12/16/19

What follows is an important message for high school and middle school students who ride on Bus 11:

All high school and middle school students who ride on Bus 11 will ride on Bus 29 except for the students who live on Black Point Road.   The high school and middle school students who live on Black Point Road will ride on Bus 21.

School Board Public Forum - 12/19/19 at 7:00PM

The School Board's Public Forum will be at 7:00PM on Thursday, December 19th (not at 6:00PM that was previously noted).  The Board's regular business meeting will follow the forum.  

The forum will be open to the public to get their feedback and answer questions regarding the Building Steering Committee's recommendation pertaining to a consolidated new primary school.
