Community Services will be holding its 3rd annual Passport Day in town on Saturday, March 7, to provide passport information to U.S. citizens and to accept passport applications. We welcome everyone to this special day, even if it is only to ask questions.
Date: Saturday, March 7, 2015
Time: 10:00 am to 3:00 pm
Where: Scarborough Community Services
Room: Council Chambers
U.S. citizens must present a valid passport book when entering or re-entering the United States by air. U.S. citizens entering the United States from Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Bermuda at land borders and sea ports of entry must present a passport book, passport card, or other travel documents approved by the U.S. government.
Information on the cost and how to apply for a U.S. passport is available at the official website travel.state.gov. We direct all applicants to this website for information on the necessary documents that should accompany the passport application.
If you plan to come by to apply for a passport, we ask you to bring in two checks along with the other information needed as outlined on the website noted above.
We look forward to a great day!
