The School Board will promote a district wide culture of inclusion and success through ongoing development in all subject areas, student support opportunities, social emotional learning and through district-wide DEI work*.

- Action item/objective: The School Board will develop and adopt a comprehensive definition of DEI that reflects the values and goals of the district.

- Equity can be defined as, but not limited to, giving every student, staff and family the tools they need to be successful.
- Inclusion can be defined as, but not limited to, ensuring that all students, staff and family feel like they belong.
